Background
Before joining us GK Roofing was overspending on marketing with Yell.com. Based in North-East England, the client wanted us to generate more leads and sales from their online marketing.
Our Objective
Our main objective instructed by the client was to consistently achieve 35-40 leads per month and to do that we had to increase lead volume by 20%.
We wanted to showcase their work by designing a modern looking website with high quality video and imagery. We then also used our formula for high conversions to ensure the site was converting ~10% of visitors. The objective is to combine short-term PPC Google Ads strategy for immediate results, while improving the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the site – with a 6-12 month view of ranking on page 1 for certain relevant keywords.
Strategy
We started by researching the local market and competitors to see what is working. Even though we’d worked with roofing businesses before, we like to research first so we don’t miss anything. We found the most profitable keywords for that region and paired that with one of our high-converting website templates.
Covering a wide area of the North-East UK, GK Roofing’s digital marketing strategy consisted of targeting the local regions with PPC & SEO to attract users looking for their services. The call to action we chose was “Request a free quote” – which was more compelling than “Contact” and required less commitment than a “Get Started”.
The Results
As of writing in November 2024 we’ve generated 42 leads this month, reaching the target objective of 40. In total we spent £2.1k (£70/day) for a cost per lead of £50.67.
We successfully reduced our clients bounce rate from 73.20% to 47.30%, a decrease of 35.38%. And lead volume saw a 26% increase while lead-to-visitor rate increase by 24%.
The client has been extremely happy with their results and continues to be a loyal client .
